Toolfest in Berlin
It was wonderful to co-facilitate session with @manuelgrossman from hashtag#fuxblau on “The Tricky Art of Managing Stakeholders” in innovation journey at hashtag#toolfest in hashtag#berlin yesterday.
We shared learnings from our own failures while managing stakeholders, and in turn learnt a lot from participants who were experienced practitioners of innovation management themselves.
Four key points that I shared from my own innovation management stories :
1. Not just the top, involve all
2. Understand what is in it for the key stakeholder (s) (their business goals / motivations)
3. Understand personal motivations and personality quirks of key stakeholder (s)
4. Understand how do hierarchies impact relationships in innovation teams.
