LIFE LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT ALONG THE WAY

Couple of weeks ago I was invited to speak to students at my engineering Alma mater National Institute of Technology Hamirpur-Alumni hashtag#NITH. The opportunity made me reflect about my life journey - my experiences and how those shaped me. A few things stood out:

1. NEVER LEAVE YOUR ROOTS. [AUTHENTICITY]
Remaining true to where you come from keeps you grounded.

2. LIFE IS A MULTI-ACT PLAY. [OPTIMISM]
There will always be one more act.

3. YOUR JOURNEY IS YOURS, YOUR PAINS ARE YOURS [HARD WORK & ENDURANCE]

4. QUALITY MATTERS. [EXCELLENCE]
Set your own standards, if you are good, you are good everywhere.

5. IT’S ABOUT PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE. [RELATIONSHIPS]
Relationships are bedrock of your existence and happiness.

6. GIVE.
The more you give, the more you create. Give good, get good, give bad get bad.

It was literally an uphill drive from the Himalayan foothills to old friends and teachers. It was about strengthening my bond with my roots - Himachal, the land of my birth and growing years, and NIT Hamirpur #NITH - the place of learning that shaped me.
